ESN & IA Cruise to Tallinn, Estonia

Trip Date

16th of November - 18th of November 2010

Make sure to clear your calendar!

This is one of those trip that you will be telling your mates back home. You simply cannot miss this one. For the last couple of semesters Jonkoping has been traveling with 3 buses full and showing other exchange students what it's like to study in Jönköping.

Travel to the beautiful city of Tallinn with ESN and the International Association! We are going to have several coaches taking us to Stockholm. From there on we will meet up with more than 2000 other international students from Finland, Sweden and Estonia.

We are then going to board M/S Baltic Queen and sail off to Tallinn! During the cruise you will have the chance to relax, party, and enjoy yourself, immersed in a totally international group. The students are taking over the cruise!

The next morning we arrive to Tallinn, a guided tour and some sightseeing time is included. After about 7 hours we will board the ship again and start to party one more time. Could it get any better?

You will be able to purchase duty free items on the ship, however, we do ask you to be responsible and somewhat behaved, as you will be representing Jönköping University!

Welcome!

A warm welcome to you as a new international student in Jönköping. You have an exciting time ahead of you.  It will be filled with lots of friends, parties, exams, trips, snowball fights and laughs. The International Association is here for you during your whole semester. We will arrange events and trips with a great variety. One of our trip will be to the very north of Sweden, in Kiruna. Here you will have the chance to see the northern light, travel with dog sled and visit the famous ice hotel. Read more about it under “trips”.  We will also make it possible for you to share your culture with others, through our cultural days every Thursday in Books & Coffee. This is just a small part of what we do. Remember, the members of the IA board are here for you and we want to contribute to give you the time of your life. If you have questions, do not hesitate to e-mail us. We are looking forward to a fun and exciting semester with you!

See you soon!
